    Prerequiste: A valid, non-expired Childcare First Aid & CPR Certification

    Certification Earned: You will receive a Canadian Red Cross Childcare First Aid & CPR level B and AED certification valid for 3 years with successful completion and mandatory attendance.

    Course Description: This course is ideal for people who care for children: parents, nannies, teachers and home-care providers. In Alberta this course is the requirement for day-care and day-home workers and meets the standards of the Alberta Family & Social Services department.

    Recertification - Healthcare Provider CPR

    Prerequiste: Individuals working or will be working as health care providers: (physicians, nurse, EMR, EMT, paramedics and Allied Healthcare Providers-RT, OT, PT.) A valid non-expired Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.

    Duration: 4-5 hours - 1/2 day

    Cost: $70.00

    Certification Earned: You will receive a Canadian Red Cross Healthcare Provider Level C and AED certification valid for 3 years with successful completion and mandatory attendance.

    The following items are covered in this Health Care Provider CPR with AED class:

  • Adult/Child/Baby choking
  • Adult/Child/Baby CPR - one person CPR
  • Barrier device/pocket masks
  • Automated External Defibrillator
  • Rescue Breathing is taught at this level
  • Adult/Child/Baby � 2 rescuer CPR (30:2 ratio - Adult and 15:2 ratio - child and baby)
  • Bag Valve Mask
